The Artist Behind the Camera

Hi there! I'm Jasmine, and I'm so glad you've found your way here!

Let me tell you a little about myself, my journey, and what led me to be here sharing my art with you. About 13 years ago, I became a mother for the first time to a beautiful little girl. Like any new mother, I was head over heels in love with this tiny squishy little human in my arms. She was my entire world. I realized pretty quickly that time was moving too fast, and I wanted to have something to look back on to remind me of this time.
When my little one was just a few weeks old, I invited a photographer into our home to help capture our tiny family as it was at that time. As I was watching this photographer work, I became captivated with the process, the setup, the details, the interactions, and most importantly the final results of this experience. One afternoon with a photographer resulted in family photos that I will cherish for my entire life. I can look back on these photographs over a decade later and feel exactly what I felt in that moment. There is no other magic like this. That experience, my friends, is exactly what sparked my desire to be the artist that creates and captures these moments, these memories, these little droplets in the ripple of time.
I've since developed a successful business that has turned into much more than I ever dreamed. I'm so blessed to recall the couples that have trusted me with their engagements and weddings, many of which have led to welcoming me into their homes to photograph their new little families. And as time goes by and families grow, children become adolescents in high school, and senior photos become one of the most important experiences of their young adult lives!
I say all this to express to you that I am here for every step of the way. Start to finish.
